We are happy to change a date for you when given atleast 1 weeks notice
Missed experiences with no notice will not be given a refund or a date change.
In a emergency we will change a date once with in the weeks notice. If no notice accrues and you just do not show, so shall lose your booking and will not be offered a refund or attentive date.
If you have a date in mind to visit us please contact us 1st to check availability for you experiance.
Once dates are confirmed we shall hold your chosen date for 24 hours.
Once a date is confirmed or you wish to purchase with out a date or as a gift, please pick your chosen experiance. Unfortunately we can only accommodate 5 alpaca's to walk at any one time but spectators are welcome to join or share if a party is over 5.
Our walks are available on Monday, Friday and Saturday at 1pm
Our website does not have a basket, so Once you click on the buy now button you will be taken to the PayPal billing page for that one item. If you wish to add spectators this will have to be done in a separate transaction.
Once the transaction has finished you shall recieve your PayPal receipt. You shall recieve a conformation email from us with in 48hrs.
If you did not prebooked a date, please contact us when you are ready for your alpaca experience.
We are available via phone, email or through the site chat.
Dates are subject to availability, and do book up fast. So please do book well in advance.
Children under 12 must pair up with a adult (1 experiance & 1 spectator) children under 8 can not walk a alpaca but are welcome to join spectators with a adult spectator.
Babies can not be carried while walking a alpaca but can be carried by a spectator.
3yrs and under are free, but please ensure your chosen spectator is equipped to look after them.
Please take in to consideration that the ground can be uneven and can be wet and muddy. Boots or old trainers are advised.
For health and safety reasons flat, none open toe shoes must be worn. Anyone who wears unsuitable shoe w unfortunately will not be able to walk a alpaca.
• All treks are supervised by a suitably trained and experienced employee, customers are not permitted to take the animals unaccompanied or leave the group with the animal.
• Treks include a safety briefing at the start, anyone not adhering to the information provided in this briefing will be asked to leave the walk without compensation.
• There will be a maximum of 5 Alpaca’s per walk. Please remember that you may be sharing your walk with other people. Private walks can be arranged at additional cost.
• Alpacas are social animals and walk in pairs so all bookings must include 2 Alpaca’s and suitable aged walkers. If this is not possible please contact us to see if we can pair you up with someone else.
• There is an additional charge of £5 for spectator, who wish to accompany the walks or are assisting with children. Under 3 year old are free but all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 years)
• Children under the age of 12 must share an alpaca with a responsible adult over the age of 18. Children under the age of 8 may accompany the walk under the supervision of a responsible adult but are unable to lead the alpaca's but are booked as spectators.
• Hand washing facilities are provided. Those who accompany children have responsibility to ensure that adequate hand washing takes place.
• Customers must dress appropriately. Please wear closed toe sturdy shoes. Sandals are not suitable and we will not walk with anyone not wearing appropriate footwear. Loose fitting clothing that may flap is also unsuitable. We still walk in rain so please bring waterproofs if necessary.
• Cancellations made more than 1 week before the start will be invited to reschedule a maximum of 1 time per booking. For Cancellations under 1 week we will try to resell the walk but if places cannot be filled they cannot be rescheduled and will not be subject to refund. • Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 1 year of the purchase date.
• The walks take place on a farm and there will be mud. Please bare this in mind as shoes can get dirty and we will not be held responsible for this or compensating for damages to clothing.
• We do not recommend alpaca trekking for pregnant women due to the rough terrain and the risk of getting kicked. If you are pregnant and wish to walk you will be required to sign a disclaimer.
• Walks are weather dependant and if the weather is unsuitable for walking we will cancel the walk and offer an alternative date suitable to you.We cannot give refunds for circumstances out of our control.
• We will request an email address mobile phone number from you on booking and will leave messages on both of these if there is a cancellation due to weather or other circumstances, please check as we will not be held responsible for missed messages on your part.
• A risk assessment has been undertaken for each trekking route and is available upon request.
• We try to stick as close to our time as possible but Alpacas walk at their own pace. If you are time restricted and need to leave at a certain time please let us know at the start of the walk.
• Group bookings are possible with a maximum group size of 10 people. This is based on sharing the walking. Please contact us for more information.
• During the walk we take photos that will be published to our social media profiles and website, please let us know if you do not want your photo taken
